Anyone familiar with CTP has heard of teams. Let me tell you about a team that stayed together when CTP was in transition and is still going at the restart: We Are Family.
This week has been a good example of the kind of help we give each other. A teammate, @kirkoliver, has become the administrator for some older traffic exchanges and is updating them. It is a lot of work, but Kirk uses the team as a sounding board (we can be very loud at times) as he works. He showed us color schemes, badge ideas, etc. and got feedback about readability.
We also talk about our pets, grandchildren, the weather (several of us live in hurricane-prone areas) and much more. If you are on CTP, you need to join a team. Find people who will be honest and supportive--like good family.
P.S. If you are curious about how Kirk's work is going, take a look at Click Roads traffic exchange and Aurora Traffic. We think he is doing a good job there.
This is a big part of affiliate marketing. Helping each other. Loved your post.

Team work is the key to affiliate marketing. O am a member of ctp and was a member of We Are Family during this time and they are a great bunch of folks. I am leader for Team Courage and we have riim for one more and plan on developing ourselves after their model

Awesome post. Describes our team perfectly. Giving honest feedback when asked, and seeing your ideas taken seriously and acted upon is a good feeling. Wish Kirk the best with his new TEs. Can't wait to see our ideas being promoted in the TE world. As for our former teammates, it was really hard to see the other team members go after we learned about the reduction in team numbers. We had some hard fought strategic competitions in CTP over the years, and the comradarie we developed doesn't go away. Good thing is I still correspond with some of our former team mates, inquiring how they are doing personally and whether they are continuing their development in CTP. I hope some of them find themselves another great team they can call home and "family".

You are so right about the team... we met in CTP teams competition but bonded as friends and "family"... it takes awesome members of a team to stick together and work as a unit over the years. My only regret is that we had to pare the original team down to 10 members (if you think THAT wasn't hard!!) but I hope they will start new teams and continue the process of bonding and networking!!! And yes the new look at ClicksRoadsTE and AuroraTraffic is an ongoing process which I am loving to see!!
