Remember donating to all the Ron Paul money bombs? Remember how that money ended up in the pockets of Jesse Benton, John Tate, and bribed state senators??? How much of YOUR Ron Paul money was stolen by the Establishment? Why not directly fund libertarian action that makes a DIFFERENCE? If you haven't seen the nightmare the Venezuelan libertarians survived, see for yourself what these libertarians witnessed and FILMED!
The Mises-Mambí Institute of Cuba is helping Venezuelans create jobs! We've seen what they're doing, it's a great project, and we want to back it! We need $100 to launch this project and have it fully funded for 1 month. That's right, $100 puts a team of Venezuelan libertarians (and one writer in Cuba) to work for a month! This can be funded either through PayPal or through Bitcoin--either way, they'll have a currency that's way more stable than the Bolivariano, which is now on par with Zimbabwe dollars.
The project is a special publication that's based on culture and humor. While there's a vibrant opposition in Venezuela, most of them are statists with un-libertarian reasons for opposing the Maduro regime's particular brand of statism. This project seeks to fill the huge void in the culture gap with LIBERTARIAN ideas and concepts. The crew includes a director, who's a very active member of the MLV (Venezuela's LP) and whose photo we've published before; the artist and designer of their weekly magazine-quality artwork; a female staff writer and video spokeswoman; and a Cuban libertarian staff writer in Havana (the man whose photo the Mises-Mambí Institute had to pull down the other day for the safety of his family). They want to take some of Ron Paul's brilliant 2008 and 2012 policy ideas and translate those into Venezuelan art and policy education.
There are members of LP Nevada and LP Florida who are backing this project as volunteers because we believe in the project, we believe in the Venezuelan libertarians, and we believe strongly in helping people create private sector jobs in Socialist countries like Cuba and Venezuela! We can send them books and well wishes all day long, but they can't ever be FREE until they can divorce themselves from Maduro's socialist economy. This project gives them the power to do that.
Better yet, part of the deal is that, with this job that frees them from Maduro's economic slavery, they'll have more time to dedicate to building up their Libertarian party! So your donation makes possible 1) these jobs, 2) this badly needed all-libertarian publication in a socialist country, and 3) Venezuela's LP gets more time from its very-low-income members.
It's based on several popular Spanish-language publications including Pictoline. The original, high-quality artwork will communicate LIBERTARIAN concepts to English and Spanish-speaking audiences. On top of these top-notch political cartoons and infographics, there will be original articles and videos--not overtly libertarian but just under the surface, like what Learn Liberty or FEE publishes in the US.
At their federal trial, ex-State Senator Kent Sorenson testified against Ron (and later Rand's) campaign manegers John Tate and Jesse Benton, that they bribed him with $73,000 of campaign funds. (Don't believe me? http://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/crime-and-courts/2016/05/05/former-ron-paul-aides-guilty-payment-scandal-kent-sorenson-michele-bachmann-jesse-benton-dimitri-kesari-john-tate/83968234/) According to FEC filings, Jesse Benton made over a million dollars working for the Ron and Rand campaigns and Campaign for Liberty. How much did YOU donate, just for it to go directly into the pockets of the Republican Establishment we were trying to fight? I remember how much of my meager salary I gave back then, and it makes my blood boil. But it doesn't have to be that way again!
Some of us actually cared, and still care, about the r3VOLution! Our brothers in Maracay care about Ron Paul's ideas, especially with their central bank more out of control than the Federal Reesrve! The American Libertarian movement is now an international movement, and our brothers in Venezuela and Cuba need your help. We need $100 to launch this and fund this for a full month. That means if 10 people only gave $10 each, this fundraiser could be over in an hour. Can YOU give $10 today? Please stand with me on this side of the line in the sand. Join me in standing shoulder to shoulder with our libertarian brothers and sisters in Venezula and Cuba.
You can donate thru Paypal at www.CubanLibertarians.org or send Bitcoins to 15SEyMrLKDnupG5tiP9XvFedkZtibFYjqW . Follow us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/institutomisesmambi/.
