CULTISM, REASONS WHY YOUNG PEOPLE JOIN CULT

Hi friends
I want to share with you some major reasons why people join cult,
I was just observing the rate of immorality in our society (Area).
You can all bear me witness that the rate of crimes and morality in our society is increasing as the day passes by.
I found out that the number of young people trooping to join cult and gangs is greatly multiplying and i ask myself why?
do they not know the dangers of cultism and bad gangs?
where they not told? because i strongly believe no religion in the world support cultism and bad gangs.
so i studied the more, i ask questions from members and engage in some interviews with a good number of
personalities who where once a cultist and know what cultism is all about.
it is so obvious that as a young person you will always want to try everything that comes your way, after some time you will get tired of it and wish you never involved in it or have anything to do with it, this has happen in so many areas of our live as a young person.
this has contributed to some of the major reasons why people join cult, other include

1. Quest for power and revenge it is so obvious that as a young person the desire for power that is to be influential in the society or campus is always high, people just want you to notice them when the come to school, or any social gathering. because of this they will do anything possible to get it, so joining cult will not be a problem to them.
2. peer pressure, i never knew what peer pressure is until my early school days when i had a cultist friend who was always telling me about cultism and always told me it was not bad, he will always tell me not to tell him any of my problem if am not ready to join cult, i never knew it has gotten to this, quitting him was a big problem to me because he told me not to expose him he will always warn me that i should not mess up with him that he is watching my back, such will make anybody join if he/she did not have a better information and counseling.
   other reasons are Lack of proper education on cultism, poor parenting,
   lack of fear of God in the life of anybody can make him to join cult, because he/she is not afraid of anything, anybody that does not fear God is not wise.
   Because the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.
