Hong Kong Snapshot (54) Going into the Time Tunnel – Lok Wah Estate 香港隨拍 (54) 帶你進入時光隧道 – 樂華邨

In Hong Kong, there is a time tunnel. Going in the time tunnel, you will go back to your happiest moment. OK! Back to the world. Today I will discover the beauty around us again. The title is this time tunnel.

其實，香港有一條時光隧道，走進這條時光隧道，你能回到你最快樂的時刻。好了，標題黨要入正題了，這次我繼續為大家發掘身邊的美麗，今次的主角是這條時光隧道。

The time tunnel is at Lok Wah Estate, Kwun Tong at the Kowloon side of Hong Kong. Lok Wah Estate is a public housing estate of HK build at 1985. “Lok Wah” means “happy Chinese”, so there is quite a lot design of Chinese style. Initially Lok Wah Estate is just a common estate. After the time tunnel is discovered, the estate becomes famous.

這條時光隧道位於香港九龍觀塘的樂華邨，樂華邨是香港的一個公共屋邨，落成於1985年，樂華邨的意思是「快樂中華」，所以邨內有不少中國元素的設計。本來這平平無奇的屋邨，因為這條時光隧道而落入大眾眼中。

The so call time tunnel is actually just a decoration at the roof top of the car park in the estate. The decoration is combined by a few blue walls with a circle in the middle. The overlapping circle just form a time tunnel picture. Together with the blue color, there is a feel of fantasy and dream, letting it now a hot spot of photographers.

所謂「時光隧道」，其實只是樂華邨停車場天台的一個小裝置，這小裝置由數道粉藍色的水泥牆組成，牆的中心有一個圓形開口，重疊而成的景像就好像一道時光隧道般，加上淺藍的的色調，富有夢幻的感覺，成為了港人的攝影熱點。

Not only a photo hop spot, as kpop singers recently like to take their MTV at Hong Kong. Lok Wah Estate is also a of the hot spot.

這個小小的時光隧道，不單單是拍攝熱點，近年有不少韓國天團在愛在香港拍攝MV，樂華邨正是其中一個熱點。

Beside the time tunnel, Lok Wah Estate itself is already a good place of photography. Just take a look at the tidy built house. It’s a kind of geometric beauty.

而除了時光隧道，樂華邨自身都已經是拍攝好地方，尤其是整齊排列，充滿幾何感覺的樓房。

There is also a cooked food kiosk! You may try the most local food at the food stall inside. In Hong Kong, we can now seldom see such kind of kiosk and food stall!

這裡還有一個冬菇亭，裡面就是最有香港特式的大排檔，在今天的香港已買少見少了！

I have to day, we really don’t need to go to some special places for a good photo. Just look around. Beauty is around. In the next post, I will bring you to a place in Hong Kong, at which a photographer won the National Geographic photo contest!
