Dress:
Pathan men usually wear Shalwar kameez with Turban and Turban is the symbol of honor for them. Males wear Kufi, Kandahari Cap, Turban, Pakool and leaders wear a karakul Hat. The Pathan men footwear is Peshawari Chappal.
Many women wear kameez which have a lot of Glass Work on it. They also make handmade jewelry which is appreciated all over the World.
Marriage System:
In Pashto marriage called waddah. In KPK culture the marriage is arranged by parents and the boy and girl they do not play any role in the negotiations because of the fact that Pashtun are conservative by the nature.
Religious Life:
The Pakhtoon are deeply religious. The Pakhtoon are offering their daily prayers and observance of fast during the month of Ramadan.
Respect for Elders:
The Pakhtoon children are taught to show the great respect to their parents and elders and senior member of the family, especially elders and command great respect.
