My favorite part of the Holy Week break is to roam around Makati City at night, for their Holy Week traditions remain full of life.

In Brgy. Poblacion, residents setup "kubols" or "calvarios" which serves as makeshift altars for the yearly "Pabasa" tradition. Filipino Catholics practice the "Pabasa" by chanting melodic phrases of the "Pasyong Mahal", a narrative on the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ in observance of the Holy Week.
