Great interview about growing up japanese

I love some interviews about people that grew up in different places. Every now and then I look for these type of interviews. The way they share their life lessons and the view of the world as they grew up from their point of view. I a crushed culture between mother tongue, childhood memories childhood friends and also rebase your origin.

The video talks about a black family daughter growing in rural japan. The views from her childhood compared to the trip back to the US when she was 12 and understanding what being black meant. The whole struggle with Identity and what it could be and should be.

The Youtube channel share a lot of experiences from black in japan but I encourage people to check out other nationalities like Spaniard in England, or African american in Italy. And so on...
