Amid the increasingly modern era of globalization, tall buildings are clawing sky. Grateful time still leaves a traditional classical building in Aceh.
Traditional houses in Aceh are getting smaller as people no longer build houses using wood. Though the traditional building is the most suitable building for the tropical climate, especially in Aceh. Rumoh Aceh is built on wooden poles using wooden pegs. The level of comfort and safety of traditional houses is very high in addition to avoiding wild animals, can also avoid flooding and minimize the impact of earthquake shocks. If summer we do not overheat if we do not feel the cold weather hijan because all raw materials made of hardwood and plant leaves.

In addition to the sturdy traditional house carved beautifully following the style of carving that developed in his day.

Here is a picture I took in some areas in North Aceh. In the future if given the ease of livelihood I will also build a traditional house or buy from the community for me to preserve. Hopefully this short article can be useful for us especially for the stemians..
