The painter was very famous not for a deaf but for his work.
And he was very rich,so they made a foundation to preserve his gorgeous house and his work.

This is such a beautiful house, @slowwalker! I love the wood throughout and the huge windows that let in lots of light to paint.
The view from the grave is breathtaking--it's sad yet beautiful that the painter's eternal home is shared with his wife.

The house fits beautifully to the garden. What a great design. There is so much love and precision in all the details. He seemed to be a man of wealth who kept his taste and instead of showing of he stayed close to nature. Very open design, very wooden, great colour setup.
