Jeungki, The Famous Aceh Traditional Rice Puncher

Jeungki, one of the rice pounders. Formerly used by Acehnese in rural areas, is now beginning to be rare in North Aceh and other areas. The habits of village women busy doing "top teupong" or pounding flour as a menu of preparation cakes to welcome the Eid day, in a jeungki there are four to five women working help each other.
