The oldest known song in the world has been releaved from the clay tablets in Ugarit city, which is located around north of Syria, and which was based on the 14th century BC.

The oldest known song in the world (literally "A Hurrian Divine") comes from earth tablets based in the Ugarit city of Syria at the beginning of the 1950s and dating back to the 14th century. Anne Draffkorn Kilmer, a professor of asurology at the University of California, worked on the above interpretation of the song for exactly 15 years and produced it in 1972.
