Hi dear steemiants, this is collection pictures a event #culturevulture of the Traditional Horse Race In Gayo Highland, Takengon, Aceh Province, Indonesia.

Traditional horse racing in the Gayo Highlands of tradition that has been going on since the Dutch colonial period and became a tradition of Gayo community held annually by the government.This activity is held usually on major anniversaries in the local area. Followed by hundreds of horses from the Gayo Highlands and followed by young jockey of age 10 to 15 years from the local area.

Acehnese jockey child compete on traditional horse races, that race against local horses and imported horses. Uniquely in this Traditional show, jockey children riding a horse in the arena without the use of saddles and do not use protective equipment in accordance with standard horse racing. While in the field where the runway area has no barrier and security.

Traditional Horse Racing in the Gayo Highland is also a place to stay in touch and gather for the Gayo community. Everyone came and gathered with family to witness the traditional horse race that has become a tradition for Gayo community.

Yes, happy if you like her.
Of course there is a certain time.
This event is held every day so the cities in the Gayo Highland. and also on the anniversary of other big days, such as Indonesia's independence day. At this time a similar event is taking place in the bustling district Bener Meriah, in the anniversary of the city.
