I have a small project of care that rewards original photos of flowers through competitions. It's called @petals but has no support. It is very popular and I'm happy to do this little thing to support good photographers. I'd like to know what you think

Really great idea with a good intent but I see one flaw, curation is dependant on perspective. I have a view point of greater support through curation such as what MSP does. As each of us out grow the rank of minnow naturally we will gain more followers and create our own supports but those just starting off have the hardest time! A large scale effort like this IMO would be best focused on the new/undervalued accounts helping to increase the likelihood of success and encouraging those we are on boarding to continue posting. Inevitably I think there is a necessity to having multiple groups with various focuses thus allowing curators to focus on what end of the spectrum of content that interest them most. Now if we had a system to be able to apply for delegations for our curation systems with rules to follow from the steemit inc pool such as what the dapps are doing now but on a more community basis I think we would see a lot of interesting content brought to light!

Thanks Cam for giving your opinions. Totally, humans are humans, we like different things. Applying for delegation is certainly great idea, what roelandp is doing lately. I'm absolutely for community and dapps, like what you are doing for onelovedtube is amazing. What we also have those dapps who were abusing the delegations and couldn't really curate.

Yes I agree with you @joythewanderer we are also thinking about it. I wish steemit will have it's own curator. It's hard to catch the eye of the whales.
