So I guess this different model doesn't really lead to better content curation... although i suspect these are also skewed by people piling on to the posts that are heavily powered up.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
