The SFT Is Now A Streemian Curator

One step at a time--we're finally making headway with The SFT, and it's thrilling to see this wonderful new project develop. I've been part of the Fiction Workshop from the beginning, and part of The SFT from the beginning. Both are staffed and populated by wonderful, dedicated people and talented authors, editors, and curators.

Today we launched a new Streemian trail-voting account, where people who love what we're doing and want to be part of it can add their strength to SFT upvotes. For those familiar with Streemian and how the whole thing works, you can find The SFT's Streemian stats HERE. . Earlier today it ranked somewhere in the top eight in the long list of trailers, but that's subject to change, so you might have to dig through a few levels to find it.

If you're not familiar with Streemian, here's how to set up an account. It's not difficult. First, go to https://streemian.com/. You'll see an option at the top right of your screen to log in or register. People with no account should click "Register."

You'll get a screen that looks like this:

You'll then be taken to a screen that looks like this:

At the bottom of that screen you'll see three steps: Verify Email, Verify STEEM Account, and Unlock STEEM Account. If "Verify Email" is not already resolved with a green checkmark, follow the instructions to verify your email. Then you'll be prompted to verify your STEEM account, which is done by transferring 0.001 SBD to Streemian in your Steemit wallet, using the memo Streemian gives you upon clicking the link. Once this is done, you'll see two green checkmarks. Lastly, you have to authorize the unlocking of your Steemit account, which involves giving your Active Private Key. You find that in your walled under Permissions. Streemian typically does not accept the Active Public Key. So be sure and toggle to private.

You'll then unlock your Steemit account, using one of the two applications shown here:

At that point, click on "Services."

You'll find The SFT under "trailers," which is a very long list several layers deep. The last time I looked, The SFT was on the eighth page, ninth from the top. You might have to hunt for it. Postioning in this list is not static. It could be nine or ten pages deep, or closer to the top. When you find it, click the "follow" tag to the right, and it should appear in the "Your Trails" list.

If you then click SFT in the "Your Trails" list, you'll open the settings. Those will look like the image pictured below. Allow upvote, but you don't have to toggle on downvote or include votes on comments. I set my voting strength to 100% because The SFT votes three times a week. I can handle this. You may want to set your voting strength lower. It's up to you.Max post age--1440--is 24 hours. Just leave that set unless you have a good reason to change it.
