curating the curator // 100% upvote is $7.75 // while I’m building new steemit content videos out let’s discuss the good stuff, the steemit daily virtual standup! :)

I’m very aware at the curation power level that @fulltimegeek empowered me (and others) with late last year and it’s my mission over the next three months to not only elevate steemit but also to put forward big plans about how we can not only bring people in but have retention of those people as well by growing the whole services and gateways required for the steem tokens and blockchain itself to succeed further.

Too be a living and breathing digital token eco system that we can all benefit from instead of having to go through fiat or fee based gateways that don’t stick to the ethos of the zero costs and super fast 1 million transaction window steemit achieves on a daily basis already — the bottom line we need ‘all boats to rise’ at the same time and more gateways in and out of the steemit blockchain.

I’m looking for curation advocates and a little steemit squad I can rely on on a daily basis — I’m thinking of a curation squad of about twenty five people.

Currently my upvote is worth $7.75 so a 100% upvote has some power for a minnow looking to get some traction here, I’ve started to add people to my thirty minute voter as well based on the content they are putting out as well because it’s easier for me some days to just have that autoplay because I know the stuff is good and I believe in them.

I want you to be in that list but also I want to to find some active daily steemians that can help me bring the rising talent, the creme la creme to the surface as I simply cannot do everything alone — setting up to record, edit, distribute, etc can be a massive job and for what I want to achieve this year I need a squad to so we can help en masse, I’ve got a discord and I want it to be popping this year.

the topics I’m most interested in

So ideally what I’m looking for are either existing steemians that are putting out anything on these topics or content creators outside of steemit that you think we should be on boarding here — at first I’ll do the outreach but over time I’ll be building out a blueprint (pack) of digital assets you can just download and send over, it’s gonna be nice if we record a video to introduce ourselves and I’ve got some great ideas for that which feed into the collaborative videos we have been making ;) (if you are an app developer who loves steemit and you are reasonably priced get in touch!)

• kickstarter style funding projects - because we have the community
• patreon people that you love and know should be here on steemit

• brand advocates who are doing incredible corporate work
• van dwellers and digital nomads working from the road

I’m branching out to different areas this year, I’ve always been the kind of content creator to not have all my eggs in one basket and while I might be working on random projects I’m always trying to keep a handle on my creative projects and work by balancing the two — this is how I will do it this year using steemit as the platform portal entry into all of them.

Continuing on with the support from @fulltimegeek I’ll be putting out a much higher quality production of all things steemit, adding to my already existing 32 part, 3hrs+ of content of how to use steemit, expect new graphics, new camera quality, better green screen and better audio and potentially for the first time better scripting even thou I prefer to freestyle!

It’s all very well earning and holding on to those crypto earnings but at some point you are gonna wanna cash some out to fiat to enable you to pay those daily, weekly and monthly life bills, I’m going to be reviewing cards and services across the EU and beyond!

I have every intention of vanishing for weeks at a time every other month to a ski mountain range in Bulgaria, they have fast fibre internet, relatively cheap accommodation and a co-working spot, it’s going to be a testbed for many ideas revolving around spaces, places and IoT mesh networking! :)

I’m an avid maker and I love cinemagraphs but I don’t have the 4k camera and the yearly software license to be making them weekly, that’s going to change in 2018 and nothing will stop me from making nomad.video a reality — a free archive for cinemagraphs that bloggers can use.

I’m already an e-resident for well over two years now and I’ve not used it properly to setup because of the whole faff of going there. now however you can pay and setup remotely, this will happen in the next three months

@everydaycarry - steemians every day carry
I’d like to start a culture of everyday carry here on steemit, the stuff you carry everyday with you, try and mobilise people to be more prepared on their travels between locations but also to see what kit you love to take around with you each day as you blog, should be awesome.

@vlogging - day to day vlogging videos
I had to grab this steemit name because this is where I’m from, I was one of the first two hundred video bloggers in the yahoo community groups in the early days and I want to hold onto that citizen journalist spirit and build a community of helping, confidence building and tech help.

Because I’m gonna be working full tilt on not only scheduling this stuff so I have the right kit and in the right headspace to put things out across all these account but I also want to keep up my role as onboarder, connector and disruptor while I’m giving you and empowering you with the tools I’ve learned over the last decade myself.

having worked with partners for digital audience engagement and seen the trends of the way that platforms have shifted and changed I believe I’m perfectly positioned now to be a brand advocate with your help to onboard the next generation of decentralised content creators — together, we can inspire their retention.
