It depends on what you value Steemit for. I don't believe upvoting a post without actually contributing at least some determination as to it's value, is really "social". I totally get liking money and wanting it. But how does this whole thing last if nobody puts effort or caring into their post, because nobody is going to read it anyway? Don't get it.
