You Got Snekked! #35

Welcome to the 35th edition of You Got Snekked!

This time we SNEKKED 6 posts and we hope you will have a look at them all! We now have a total of 8 curators (including me) and all I can say is that I am really proud of how this project is growing! Thank you all for the wonderful support!

You Got Snekked does not stop when you become bigger! We believe that everyone on the platform deserves to be curated! We don't look at rep, wallet or if you are new or if you have been here for two years! Manual curation is for everyone in our belief!**

Payouts of this post!

You got snekked will do two compilation posts per week on Tuesday and Friday. Curators will get 5% of the Steem and or SBD payout!

Right now, some of our curators are on a break! They will return soon!

Let's get started!

Here are the Snekked diamonds of the week!

Meet @georgipraskov

Come and meet @georgipraskov! His post really made me smile from ear to ear! Such a marvelous first post shared on the platform! He tells us a lot about who he is and what he enjoys to do!

His pictures are also amazing and give a nice insight of the magical things he does when he is in the mountains! They made me dream away and wish I was there as well to have moments like that! Let's give him a warm welcome to the platform and share some love on his wonderful post!

Meet @gregorypatrick

I first ran into this Steemian on @pennsif's Alternative Lifestyle Show some months ago. He is a homeschooling parent and advocate for the cannabis community. He also hosts a weekly show in @canna-curate's DISCORD channel that is a bit of an anti-state open forum which I had the pleasure of participating in.

This post also turned me on to @deepdive's blog and their initiative to challenge us to write about controversial topics which is right up my alley. This particular post is a responce to this week's topic - Wikileaks. I think Gregory and I are on the same page here in our support of Julian Assange's great and brave work exposing evil globalist agendas. And I'm glad someone is making an effort to bring such things to light on our amazing decentralized platform. If this tickles your fancy and ignites the radical activist in you, please head on over and show the post and its respective bloggers some Steemit LOVE!

Meet @stef1

This painting by @stef1 really caught my eye and at first, I couldn't quite place why... And then upon reading her post further, I discovered the reason: I was "feeling" a difference between some of the textures... A contrast I couldn't explain, because she decided as she was doing it to change from acrylics to pastels for the clouds and sails!

The pirate theme is awesome and @stef1 really goes into why she decided to paint the infamous Blackbeard's ship. She is also very thorough in showing her creative process, right from pencil sketch to the completed artwork. She is also very engaging in her posts, and something I noticed is that she receives many "Nice art!" types of comments so please, do go check out her work and leave her a thoughtful comment - as an artist myself, I know how much she would appreciate them.

Meet @samuel-earp-art

It's always impressive when artists do their magic, but it's even more impressive when a veteran artist like @samuel-earp-art explains the method and how he actually went from just an idea to a magistral drawing. I was left speechless as he went step by step explaining the idea behind his actions, like:

Red is opposite to green on the colour wheel so by mixing red or a colour that contains red it will desaturate the green and reduce its chroma and vibrancy. This will also make the colour look more natural and organic.

It's DEFINITELY a must-read both for artists and for people interested in art, the drawing itself is phenomenal so give it a look!

Meet @lynncoyle1

@lynncoyle1 Shares with us the process of them upkeeping their grass palapa! The process looks like quite a daunting task, as these types of straw structures must be difficult to maintain.

The post shares many different photos of the changes, allowing us to see how life can be living in a grass palapa. Check out the photos and learn more about it in the link below:

Meet @maddysaves

We have a lot of responsibility as partners, parents, friends, caretakers, and humans. We have to take care of them. I think sometimes we forget to take care of ourselves. You should pay attention to yourself and start thinking about self-care habits for a healthy body and mind.

And you are the one who has to take care of your spouse, kids, friends and other people. In this post @maddysaves talked about self-care habits that you need in your life. Let’s read this amazing post.
