APPLICATION IS NOW CLOSED. THANKS FOR ALL YOU PARTICIPATED.
Curie is a curation project that helps and supports great posts. Posts discovered by curie curators receive generous votes so that new authors who are continuously creating great content without much success get some exposure.
Please visit @curie blog and #curie chat channel to learn more about Curie. When you go to #curie channel on www.steemit.chat, click the pin icon to see the pinned post. Pinned posts have the up-to-date information and answers for most of the questions you might have. If you still have questions after reading pinned posts feel free to ask in the chat.
Currently, the only way to become a Curie curator is to be recommended by one of the top curators. I have made similar application post few weeks ago. Many people applied, only some ( @rycharde, @bisade, @monajam, @thatdamiguy, @misterakpan) went through the whole application process, and they became Curie curators.
I still see more people interested in becoming a Curie curator. That is why I am making another application post. This process is designed to be rigorous because if recommended curator fails to maintain their Curation Score (CS) at 0.25 or higher they will be disqualified and I would not be able to recommend anymore. Please apply only if you are seriously interested.
Prerequisites
Applicant must hav a reputation of 40 or higher.
Applicant must have been on Steemit for at least a month.
Applicant must be an active member who engages with the community.
Application process step by step
- Go to #curie channel on www.steemit.chat, click the pin icon and read all of the pinned posts and faq. Get familiar with Curie rules and guidelines. Go to @curie blog and read the latest Curie Weekly Update post.
- Leave a brief comment why you want to become a curator. One sentence is sufficient. Find an exceptional post that fits Curie guidelines and you would propose to Curie if you were a curator. Include the link for that post in your comment. This link will not be proposed to Curie. This is only for you to demonstrate your understanding of the Curie guidelines.
- If comment and link found acceptable those applicants will be invited for an interview. Once invited for an interview, you can contact me on steemit.chat directly.
- There will be two or three questions based on Curie rules and guidelines. If applicants answer both correct they will selected for mentorship. Be prepared to answer math questions as well.
- During mentorship, I will share my experience curating and try to answer any possible questions to the best of my knowledge. Applicants will be asked to find 3 posts that would be submitted to Curie. If I disapprove we will discuss what is wrong. If I approve I will submit them to Curie. If Curie rejects even one post, mentorship ends and applicant will NOT be recommended. If all 3 posts are approved by Curie, I will recommend the applicant to become a curator.
After an applicant is recommended to be a curator, reviewers will need to approve the recommendation. If reviewers approve applicant becomes a curator.
At any step of the process, I reserve the right to reject the application for any or no reason. I highly recommend getting familiar with Curie rules and guidelines and understanding the steps of this process before leaving a comment. Many were rejected last time because they didn't get to know the Curie rules and/or didn't follow the steps properly.

My Application To Be A Curie Curator
I have been on Steemit for 3 months and 3 weeks. Studied the system properly and also have some knowledge on how it works.
Everyday there are new users approved into the steemit community and many of them are yet to be noticed.
I have read many good works on this platform that deserves some curation.
However, I want to join the curie curators to assist them with the brilliant jobs they have been doing so far and also to cover grounds that are yet to be explored.

This is a great post. I also discovered this bloger 4 days ago. I commented him 4 days ago if he has some steemit signature on his previous art work. Unfortunately he didn't have it and i rather submitted other post.

I like Curie work a long time ago, it's even the ones I most appreciate on the net.
I consider myself a fair and impartial person, but my knowledge of English is a bit low.
I will try to learn in its entirety and I will contact you. Regards!

My aplication to be a new currator :
I want to be curator for the following reasons is
1.why do I want to be a new curator, that's because I want to give them a gift on some posts that I think are very interesting, nice and amazing but they do not get the appropriate results from their posts.
I am very happy with the work of the curie community, which they are always meticulous and compact in the team to select new curators and select posts that deserve to appear and gain appreciation.
My post has been curated by the curie's trail several times. I know how good I feel when I see it, it is very exciting for me. I want others to feel that way.
And this I send an example of a link that does not get results in accordance with his own more original work.

My application to become a Curie curator:
I'm here on steemit for two months and i like it very much. I like to discover new awesome blogers and posts. Many of them are amazing and i like how curie's team supports and encourages new authors. It would be good for steemit and all our community to keep amazing authors here. Their work can bring many new users to steemit which would ad even more value to this platform. I have a lot of time and i'm searching steemit new posts every day. I was curator for @jerrybanfield (@aarellanes). At beginning i was one of the most picked curators. I took a little pause this summer and now i have a lot of time in the next months. I'm familiar with all curie's guidelines. I read curie's posts and i checked steem.chat pined message. I know what curie's team prefers and i have similar interests. I would like to become a great curator and to find the best undiscovered post as much as possible. I like to search and i usually spend minimum 7 hours on steemit every day. Sometimes more. My post that i would like to show you today is bellow. It has steemit and nickname sign on his art work.

Hi @geekgirl, mainly there is one reason to apply for becoming a curator and that is to strengthen the base that this whole building is constructed upon. Talented people writing(singing, painting etc) good and original content.
So this is what i would want to do, go out and find these underrated people with their brilliant posts and get them the spotlight that they deserve.
As an example i have found this post here (science ! yay!):
https://steemit.com/suesascience/@laylahsophia/misconceptions-in-egyptology
Since i have as well been hit once by curie and know how motivating this can be i want to help spread the word and give others this chance as well.
Thanks alot!
yours
Jan

applying for the job of Curie curator.
I once apllied for this post so my reasons are the same as earlier.
More curator means the more good post will be discovered. As you will choose only the one who will give a good post in this application.
Secondly, I also got two upvotes from Curie and Hendrikdegrote(He is the member of Curie guild), and I still remember how much energy that two upvotes gave me. I was about to leave blogging, but Curie upvotes gave me a new hope.
I like to read posts related to arts, story, life etc. which are in Curie recommendation and ignore steemit and crypto related stuff but I have to admit that kind of posts are dominating steemit. Most of my posts are also similar to Curie recommended tags.
Lastly, I liked the concept of giving finder's fee by curie. As both, the author and finder's fee who spends his time to find a post will be rewarded.
And the post is https://steemit.com/story/@valchiz/short-story-one-valentine-night-2017919t8533461z

Only thing you can do it publish exceptional posts, and keep publishing more exceptional posts. Eventually curators will find your post. There are many curators looking for great content.
