This is probably the only serious thing i'm going to post about this. The more I've seen from people who have actually seen the film, the more I don't feel the need to waste my time with it.
Shoe0nHead is not prone to moral panic and she's not some right-wing QAnon fan.
She has spent a lot of time over the years talking about the disturbing defenses of paedophilia from people who call themselves "Minor-Attracted Persons" on Twitter and elsewhere, so this is in her wheelhouse.
There's really no way that you can view the clips that have been shared or the ones she does show (censored with a clown face) in this video as anything but creepy and deeply uncomfortable exploitation of kids. Whatever criticism the film makes about the sexualization of children in its last couple minutes can't make up for the way adults wrote, shot, edited, and presented kids in the movie itself.
All the hot takes from people who have been criticizing anyone complaining about this movie have, themselves, not actually seen the movie. I have a lot of sympathy for the idea that you shouldn't criticize something that you haven't seen. I haven't seen this.
