Stay Anonymous with Nipe - [Kali Tutorial]

in cybersecurity •  6 years ago

For those who are interested in anonymizing online presence, it's like you are familiar with tools like TOR or The Onion Router.

TOR is great, but takes a bit of back-and-forth to get it going and it may only provide you with privacy (to a certain level) only while browsing.

One of the best ways to go anonymous is to use a VPN that doesnt keep logs and has powerful encryption. But that may come with a cost (though it's quite cheap nowadays).

However, an alternative to that, if you use a linux system is Nipe. This is a one line command that you run after you install it and it anonymizes all your traffic, regardless of the protocol and application. Nipe is based on TOR. See the video below to understand how to install it and run it.

This looks really neat my man! I tried looking something similar for windows but didn't get any results. Do you think something similar exists for windows or ios?

I believe you can use TOR in windows

I guess TOR plus a VPN for added security is a good option. Thanks man!
