We left early in the morning to find one of the hardest routes in the area of my town, to complete this journey I joined my brother Carlos Julio (green Jersey, I'm the one with the sky and black and yellow jersey).

The city where I live is called Portoviejo belonging to the province of Manabí of the country Ecuador (middle of the world).

To start our chosen route we had to cross the best known cycling area of the city "La Tomatera" which has an altitude of 250 meters above sea level, it is a dry forest of a protected area, where its trails are used To do cross country and downhill, this place is cared for and maintained by cyclists in the area.

Then we descend to a place called Riochico and begin to travel a stretch of 5 kilometers of a false plane that eats your legs until you reach a place called "Quebrada Grande" in this part we take a break we hydrated and stretch our legs to recover a little, we already had a route of 15 kms of pure mountain and local roads.

Here begins the hardest part of this route you get to climb almost 400 meters above sea level in one fell swoop and with a very loose type of ground the legs explode and the thing you want the most is to throw the bike aside and leave the whole thing right there, but this is the world of cycling and cycling is equal to masochism every pain accompanied by each advanced meter is the trophy to the effort.

I wanted to get off the bike but Carlos Julio shouted at me not to do it, he would yell at me very kindly if you get off I kick your head haha, then look down at the ground and just pedal and pedal without looking at the road.

Until finally crown the top, it seemed a lie that he had achieved it was the first time he knew without putting one foot on the floor. The victory seemed more Carlos Carlos than mine, always claims me that I am very weak of mind and is almost always right (save me from kicking my head hahaha).

"Good Alexito that level, Danzarín @% $ ^ && @@ *"

After this part and it came something easier was down and flat for a few miles and then look for a return to Portoviejo mountain my city, but when we were about to take the road to more mountains was an unexpected.

Carlos spiked a tire and with the help of Emilio a local child who lent us a pump to inflate the tire and glue to stick the patch, this delayed us a bit and the sun came out very strong so we made the decision to Return to Portoviejo by road to shorten time.

This was the crossing of the route to Danzarín, very good pedal on this day a bit of everything, cycling is the most, the connection with nature is unique.
