I wrote this post last year after finding out my wife was diagnosed with MS

I decided to ride the MS 150 that is a two day trip from Duluth to the Twin Cities a total of 150 miles.

I raised $1,200 to help find a cure! my team raised almost $30,000 and the event totaled more than $3,000,000

These are two of my teammates. we rode the whole way together. There were more than 3,000 riders participating in the event.

Here is the map and my stats for day one. We took a bus to Proctor where we camped on the football field. It rained overnight, but let up by start time 6:30 am. It rained on and off though the morning and we arrived in Hinckley at about noon. The rest of the day was warm and sunny and we grilled and had a few beers.

We hit the road at about 6:30 the next morning . The weather comfortable, but there was a strong breeze that was either a head wind or cross wind.

Over all the ride was very enjoyable and I'm looking forward to doing it again. The best part was My wife and baby were waiting at the finish line.

My brother and some friends did that last year too, and a few years prior. I don't think I could hack it, haha. Way to raise some money for a great cause!

Great effort for a great cause! Kudos!
