A jogger let me know there was a bear across the street, I road by & then paused. He must have heard my bear bells jingle when I took out my phone, he looked at me, galloped softly across the rose garden & then sauntered up the street. Bear magic.

They are everywhere here, we've had so much growth in Asheville in the last 10 years and we are surrounded by the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Pisgah National Forest, so they come down the mountain because we keep building on it. Now we all live together and I always pray that the humans don't do stupid things to mess it up. I love seeing them, they're so magical.
