Bangkok Biking in Bang Krachao

in cycling •  7 years ago  (edited)

Sunday biking in Bang Krachao, Bangkok's 'Green lung'.
South of the Chao Praya river in the center of the city is a largely undeveloped area of mangroves, jungle and flora.
Rode the bike down to the Chao Phraya river, paid the 20 baht (60c) for a 'longtail' boat take me across and we set off for a 40km round trip.
A nice day for riding, as it was low 30 degrees Celsius - this is a cool BKK day nowadays.

This is really cool, I loved Thailand when I went, although I never got a chance to cycle there. Definitely looks like a great experience.

Thanks. Cycling in the city is not much fun, you need full time 360 degree vision, but there are areas that are good for biking.

I bet you need eyes in the back of your head, and balls of steel too. I remember how crazy the drivers were there.
