    I visited Dachau when I was staying in Munich. The photos brought back a lot of strong memories and feelings. The rows of barrack foundations were very powerful.

      Yes, I thought the same thing. The place was huge, and one must say, in a morbid sort of way set up for efficiency.

        Interesting post, it might be a bit morbid to want to visit historical sites like this, but I think it is good that people remember what cruelty man is capable of... I once visited Auschwitz in Poland but it was closed, and I was not allowed to enter...
