Constellation Labs
Key Features
- DAG similar to IOTA but much faster once fully scaled
- around 4,000-4,800 TPS per 1200 Nodes
- horizontally scalable distributed operating system
- smart contracts as microservices
Team and Advisors
- Brendan Playford (CEO), former head of demand generation at Drone Deploy
- Wyatt Meldman-Floch (CTO), NASA Intern, engineer for Zignal, data engineer at Rally Health
- Benjamin Jorgensen (COO), General Manager at GiftConnect
- Altif Brown (Head of Community) - global community manager at POWr and WANELO
- Zac Russell (Head of Marketing) - RED BULL advertising specialist
- Advisors with a background from Apple, Youtube, Uber
Roadmap
- Testnet in Q3 and Mainnet end of the year
- In my opinion pretty unimaginative and uninspiring. Pretty small roadmap.
Token Metrics
- Hardcap – $33,250,000
Drawbacks
- Whitepaper is pretty technical. Does not explore possible commercial uses of the proposed chain. Also: some spelling mistakes.
- Team pivoted in 2017. At first, they tried to build a decentralized content platform on ETH. In short, something entirely different that is not at all related to building a completely new DAG chain.
- Tokens of private sale investors were not locked. This is super unprofessional and let to one investor who dropped around 30 million tokens at the day it was listed.
- They propose a speed of around 4000-5000 Tx/sec. Other projects might become much faster.
Verdict
- DAG project with interesting team

it looks like a very reliable one. Project like this is one of the reason why I still believe in crypto, I wouldn't be surprised if one day it rise up like we've never seen before.
