The Hope of Christmas - Day 7

Happy festive season to everyone and may it bring joy and peace to all. I started reading a Bible plan on YouVersion today and it's just for 10 days. I will be sharing this plan called The Hope of Christmas with you and I hope you gain something from it too.

Day 6

And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

Devotional

Sometimes, precious things come to us in a way we do not expect or should I say in a way that is not so special. We should know that there is a purpose for every man in life either born with a silver spoon or not.

Life destiny does not focus on how one is born or where he was born but on the purpose the one's existence.

Jesus came to the world in a way no one can even say it's a special way but the simplicity in the way shows that we all should live our lives in a simple way to fulfill our purpose in life.

Jesus Christ came as a fragile person, a baby. So we should care for all the things God has given us like a fragile thing even our own soul.

Let live our lives as if there won't be tomorrow because it's fragile.
