Happy festive season to everyone and may it bring joy and peace to all. I started reading a Bible plan on YouVersion today and it's just for 10 days. I will be sharing this plan called The Hope of Christmas with you and I hope you gain something from it too.

Day 6
And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich. And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature. And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way. And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house. And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully. And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner. And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold. Devotional
This is the time for us to seek God as He seeking us out through Jesus to restore us back to Him.
Jesus came to the world to fulfill the purpose of reconciliation and that was why He died for the remission of our sin so that we will be whole to present ourselves to God.
Jesus is standing at the door of your heart and it's up to us to open the door or keep it close but I will say we should open it and welcome the free salvation made by the blameless lamb of God.
This is one of the reasons why Christmas is special as it was the time of the birth of the Holy One who came to reconcile us to the Father.
Invite Him and He will enter with peace to abound with you.
