Happiness… What is it?!

All Humans seems to look for that “unreachable thing”… or is it? What is happiness?… How do we define our own sense of the term happiness? Is it so complex, such a tangled complex thought, that most of us end up admitting that never knew what happiness, real happiness was?

We can identify moments of extreme joy in our life can’t we? For sure, we do, but those moments are most of the time like a breeze, a breeze that came to us as a hurricane and fade away as fast as a summer storm.

What I see as happiness is probably not the same as you see, same talking is far more different from someone born in the neighborhoods of Senegal or even from a native born at the Amazon rain forest, but we all seek happiness indeed, in different levels and shapes, maybe influenced by our own beliefs or cultural backgrounds.

But, the Human Race seems to have all the same approach when it comes to the basic needs… so is happiness a basic need? Indeed, for sure it must be, otherwise we wouldn’t spend every single day looking for it.

So, how can we define happiness?

Let’s approach it as it was a “fresh clay on top of a potter’s wheels”, that we will mold it with our hands, making it step by step gaining forms becoming a beautiful jar or pot, in the bottom line happiness it is in our hands and deep inside us not outside, is not a car, a house, expensive and exotic items, but in us, we can of course use that items as a part of our construction of happiness but they will never bring us any happiness if we don’t construct it inside of us first, if we do not share it with those around us, our happiness will be plain and vain, we must see happiness as whole, a ladder to climb step by step, and we can’t do it alone, we must embrace others into our happiness or nothing we do will makes us real happy.
