DBJP # 44 - Late Visit to Koziar’s Christmas Village

in dailybabyjamespic •  5 years ago  (edited)

Drove out to see a large Christmas light display known as Koziar’s Christmas Village on the other end of my home county, Berks county.

James may have been napping just prior to us arriving at the light display, but he sure did wake up, and stay awake for the whole time we were there!

Something about light, much like the stairwell, that fascinates him and grabs his attention. But that’s much like any other baby out there I’m sure. The bright light has that effect.

But I do know James is one curious fella... just like Daddy.

Overall, we had a good time at the village light display. James obviously enjoyed his first time there. A little crammed when the crowd walked up on itself but for the most part was easy to get around, even with a stroller. Parking directors were efficient and quick, and parking itself free. For 12$ an adult I’d recommend to any one traveling for large light displays who are in the southeastern Pennsylvania area.

James will hopefully remember for next year when we travel to another light display.

I love my Family. I pray to Heavenly Father.

You have to give it to those people that decorate their homes like that...Nice of them to make the effort so others can enjoy it.

Dedication no doubt. Turned into one good business model... i think.. if the energy costs and the rest is paid off an stuff sheesh

Yes, I can imagine it get's costly.

This town here, not too far from where I live, does it too...The whole town. I think they get some sort of assistance now, although back in the day it was all self-funded. See link.

This town was burned out a few weeks ago in the recent fires. It was pretty tragic. They'll rebuild though, that's what Aussies do.

I heard about those major fires from suspicious observers. Catastrophic it sounds. A strong folk have the land.

We've had some devastating fires which continue to burn from South Australia where I am to Victoria, New South Wales and into Queensland. It's been a terrible start to Summer with 3 months of burning-hot days to come. We'll get by though.

The way the Cali fires are started and what not makes me suspect foul play by our own corrupt govt. It’s all there to see

Yes, I hear you. Pushes an agenda I guess...The old global warming chestnut.
