Retirement? Hah! What's that?
I'm only 29, retirement isn't for 40 more years lol
But maybe one day I'll be financially independent and not need a traditional job. That's the dream, but it's a ways off right now. Need more land for that.

If we had more land, I'd do more of the same AND have meat birds, cows, and pigs. Being food independent would be an awesome feeling.

Maybe! With enough space, anything is possible. I think we'd be able to raise 100% of our own chicken if we had a full acre. And probably enough for another family too! On top of a big fruit and vegetable operation. Two acres would be more than enough to make a little money off of. Ten acres would probably pay itself off quick, but that's just guessing.
