Hey, Steemians!

Worrying a lot about everything? Well, we are all feeling much more stressed out nowadays than the previous generations.
Today's societies are in a continuous and dramatic change causing a lot of pressure on the individuals.

Most people are getting anxious under such circumstances and start worrying about even the minor things happening in their lives. This constant rush is a real madness leading to serious illnesses.

The problems appear when we have cortisol in our body over an extended period of time, the high level of cortisol being associated with various diseases.

Stressful experiences in early life, while they are still in the womb or in the first year of life will change the entire stress perspective of the newly born babies. Several studies are showing that such a behavior can influence the way our genes work.

Most people are worried about things which are not under their control and they are focusing on the effects, rather than the causes. Since, you do not have the power to change those things, instead of focusing on the effect, try to change your perspective of taking actions and analyze the causes. It will make a big difference.

You can not change the weather outside, but you can still make the most of now. It's up to you.
The way you live your life it's a choice. Make sure you are making the right one.

It is easy to let the effects of issues overrun us, our brains can get very comfortable in those negative loops and any repetitive thinking, dwelling on emotions, will only fortify those connections and it will become the default. Mindfulness is a great tool for recognizing these patterns and working to change them when they come up again.
