Life as a food hunter: Mexican dishes on the table!

Fish Tacos with creamy pumpkin soup (Top)

• Flour tortillas with habanero-honey-glazed fish and red cabbage salad served with pico de gallo. (MYR 35)

Hawaiian-style Quesadillas with creamy pumpkin soup(Bottom)

• Grilled BBQ spicy chicken with serrano chile and pineapple served with french fries and mixed salad. (MYR 34)

I never try any mexican cuisine before and this is my very first time for this. What I can say is... this is really nice!

Firstly let's talk about the tacos! For the fish fillet you can see from the picture is really fresh and juicy. At first I purposely ate the front and back part of the tacos just to see what sauce they put in it. After awhile only I realized there is not sauce in it but all the juicy the came out from the fish fillet! According to the menu description, the fish is "habanero-honey-glazed"!

If wanna talk about the sauce then will be the 2 sauces that they provide at the right side of it. Pico de gallo also called salsa fresca, is made from chopped tomato, onion, cilantro, fresh serranos (jalapeños or habaneros are used as alternatives), salt, and lime juice. Another one is not stated in the description which I believe was Guacamole. This is an avocado-based dip, spread. Both are my favorite! Too bad that I can't have it all for myself because this is my friend's lunch too.

Now is my turn to talk about my lunch! Although I really have no idea how to pronounce the name of this dish, but what I can say... just look at it already makes me hungry... hahaha.

A Quesadilla is a tortilla, usually a flour tortilla but also sometimes made with a corn tortilla, which is filled with cheese and then grilled. So what I ordered will be hawaiian style grilled chicken filling within the corn tortilla. Overall the taste is very balance. All the ingredients play their part really well. Sweet and sour on the inside plus blue cheese sauce on the top became a good match. For their chicken not just pineapple and tomato based but also add in some serrano chile pepper to add in different type of taste!

Overall I had a great experience with the food and I am satisfied with it! Definitely will recommend my friends to come over again!
