So busy so hectic and so exhausted.. but managed to squeeze some time for steem posting :)
Here you see Unagi Nigiri. Which is essentially an Eel Sushi.
Eels have been part of the Japanese diet for quite awhile and particularly it is the river eel that is grilled and consumed.
Eels have a unique texture and I found out in my last trip to Japan that different eels have different grades and also very different textures and taste. Almost just like fine wine and tea.
This Unagi Nigiri was eaten at a local Japanese sushi train eatery and the dishes were all fresh and made on the spot. Very clean and friendly atmosphere.

Looks delicious and will try it sometime. Looks like grilled fish!! I like their Prawns, California Roll, Avocado and Egg. Not very adventuress type, but will try it since you recommend.
