DISCUSSION TOPIC:
Sin Destroys
BIBLE READING:
Leviticus 13: 29-59
Qs. 2, 4 See Questions HERE.
DISCUSSION:
Note that as with other infectious skin diseases, any boil or inflammation of any part of the body or any fungus or mould on clothes and buildings had to be reported to the priests for investigation (vs. 18-28). This also appliess to any itches, skin spots or falling out of the hair (vs. 29-44). When sin is detected, it should be our responsibility to inform those with oversight over those affected or take action if it is our responsibility to do so. In many African nations, the corruption indices are very high. What can we as Christians do to promote and preserve righteousness?
Observe the increasing effect of sin from defilement (vs. 44-45) to isolate (v. 46) and destruction (vs. 50-59). The final consequences of sin is eternal destruction in hell fire (Revelation 20:10, 14-15). But as long as we are alive, our sins can be washed away by the blood of Jesus if we put our faith in Him. This should compel us, like Paul, to preach the Gospel to those who are still wallowing in the mud of sin (1 Corinthians 9:16).
So what?
In what ways will you contribute to tackling the incidence of corruption in your community or organisation?
Prayer:
Dear Lord, may my life be the light that chases darkness away.
Sin is deadly obviously. Its a call to everyone: lets stop sin!

@enobong, i love the way you made it a call for all. Many persons argue how this doesnt concern them forgetting the fact that SIN is contagious and its destructive effect occurs in a chain reaction that would affect everyone in the long run whether directly or indirectly. This is a call to righteousness.
