Matt Walsh has posted that someone from AOC's family has refused to accept the donation, therefore they will have to be returned to all donors. The end game here was clear from the beginning. Accept or reject, AOC suffers a loss. If she accepted, then she will have admitted that her political opponents are better than her at taking care of her family. She will be unable to complain in the future about anyone's living conditions because she will have shown that all she does is talk and no action. If she rejected, then she will have admitted that she would rather her grandmother live in squalor than accept help. She will have admitted that she doesn't really care about her grandmother's well-being. This was all a political game.
Conservatives should learn from Matt's chess move. In the future, whenever progressives use their family members to complain about how the government isn't helping, start a gofundme. Do they truly care about their family? Or is it political game? Call their bluff.
