Fixing the garden hose

Good morning steemians and homesteader friends! Its a good sunny day and as usual, a lot of works waiting around my compound and at the warehouse.

To start my day, just took some bread "pandesal" spread it with peanut butter and a cup of warm coffee. How about you? Did you ate breakfast already? I hope you had a very delicious heavy breakfast my friend steemians :)

Fixing our garden hose.

My wife have a mountain of dirty clothes and everything, our garden hose helps a lot on supplying directly the water into her washing machine. We also use it for watering our plants around the compound and use it to shower our dogs.

"you have to fix the hose, water coming out on some holes" @mama-imee complaining a minute ago. Well, that is eventually going to happened to a 5 yrs old garden hose, better fix it right away or i might find myself carrying pale of water just to full the washing machine container.

Since we have old tires, i might also find interior. And im lucky i have found it, cut a little part from it.

Then cut some 10 to 12 inches long.

Look at that water coming out from the side of the hose, i havn't open it in full if i does, that leak bursting 6 feet high.

I also add an extension here to the hose to make it more longer, then covered it with these interior rubber.

I think this rubber can last for a month or two or it depends if its not expose directly to the sun, heat may cause the rubber to break.

Its all done! Thanks to this rubber interior, it saves me money to buy a new garden hose.
