Living in Dallas Texas

Dallas Texas is a unique city. It is more divided these days between rich and poor. The middle class does still exist but was really bolstered by the Boomers (Boomers are people in the USA born between 1946 and 1964). Boomers were the bedrock of America for a long time. They inherited wealth from their parents, who were alive through WWII. After the second World War Boomers were handed a lot of resources. Before 1945 America was considered a third world country, the Great Depression caused this, and it really wasn't until around 1960 did America become highly advanced. Dallas Texas was just a cow town before WWII, and the population wasn't that large. Of course as more and more technology came forward Dallas began to boom.
The weather in Dallas is on the extreme ends of the spectrum. It gets below freezing in the Winter and over 100 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer. Spring and fall are known for tornadoes, and in the south of Texas there are frequent hurricanes. The first settlers in Texas struggled

greatly to found homesteads because of the extreme weather. Also much of Texas is rocky, sandy, and flat. One can only dig about three feet deep until they hit hard clay, and under the clay is solid limestone. So there are not any basements in Texas like there are in the rest of the USA.
Dallas has become very progressive and cosmopolitan in the past 30 years. It is known for its incredible architecture, and for the river walks that run along the Trinity River. The Trinity flows through the middle of Dallas, and brings all kinds of beautiful migratory wildlife from areas around Dallas. Dallas has a great nightlife scene and is home to one of the greatest football teams in the history of the USA; the Dallas Cowboys. (For those of you that don't know there is a big difference between American football and Football around the rest of the world.)
I love my city and I was born and raised here. However I am growing tired of the same old thing so I am looking to move soon out of state. Until then I would like to recommend Dallas as a great place to visit. It holds interesting and beautiful aspects of life that everyone should see. So come on down to Texas and explore you won't be disappointed!
