꼼지락 거리다 진짜 느즈막하게 숙소를 나섰다. 맥주나 한잔 하러 가면서 지나가는 프라하 국립극장 마당에서 음악 소리가 들린다. 국립극장 앞이라 단원들 연습인가 했는데, 가만보니 동아리 모임에 더 가까워 보인다.
왼쪽의 멋들어진 건물이 1881년 처음 건설되었다 얼마 지나지않아 화재를 겪은 후 국민들의 기부금으로 2년 만에 재건한 국립극장이다.
오른쪽에 상대적으로 우중충해 보이는 건물은 1970년대 후반 공산당에 의해 지어진 극장 이다. 주변의 고풍스러운 건물들과 어울리지 않는듯 보이나, 벌써 50년 이상이 지나서 그런가 새것의 느낌이 가시니 또 그런데로 묻어가는 듯도 하다.
동아리 모임이든 뭐든 모두의 몸놀림이 경쾌하고 즐거워 보인다. 스텝들이 한두번 해본 솜씨가 아니다.
이럴줄 알았으면 문화센터 스포츠댄스 강좌라도 수강할걸 그랬나보다. 이미 몸은 굳어가는데, 남미 여행을 가려면 이제라도 시작 해야하나 하는 생각을 아주 잠깐 해봤다.
