The weekend is in its warm up phase and I have here a very cool entry for #danceweekend of @uwelang with Giorgio Moroder´s - Chase. Chase was on the soundtrack for the movie " Midnight Express ".

If you have not watched the movie " Midnight Express " you really should check it. The movie plays in turkey about an american who has gone into jail because he wanted to smuggle weed on the air plan. A milestone of cinema history.

Much fun with this great sound pattern.

            Considering my band gets described as Moroder-metal in major US publications, you’d think by now I knew literally every moroder track but Chase somehow eluded me. Love how much love Moroder has gotten in the last few years ... between daft punk and the obvious moroder influence on modern soundtrack heavies like cliff Martinez, it’s probably his biggest time surge since disco. He has certainly influenced me in my modular synth composition stuff.

                  Youtube angehört!
                  Mein klarer Favorit ist "From Here To Eternity".
