I took these photos at a local dance school in Edinburgh. A benefit I feel fortunate to have when photographing dancers, as someone who has been professionally trained, is that you develop a sense of anticipation of their movements and can therefore almost plan the shot in advance.

Oh I love that first shot! These remind me of Edgar Degas paintings. I like the muted colors too. You have a beautiful, artistic eye.
