Look mom! I found a way to get rich!

First of all, i want to say hello to everyone on Steemit, because although I have been lurking the Steemit trending page for a while, this is my very first post. Hereby, hello Steemit-mates, we are the first users of a new potential piece of internet history...

Now that I got all this drama out of the way, I want to adress something that I have personally encountered multiple times in the real world, while I haven't seen anything about it on any other relevant forum. I am referring to the teenage kids who heard about that new etherium, digibyte or bitcoin stuff that has made people millionaires from just a few dollars! What can go wrong?! Bitcoin went up thousands in percentages just in the last two years, it's free money dude! Look, I just deposited my savings into this broker site and it let's me use these leverages! Here look at my balance... and it's gone.

I have seen multiple of these kids who get so excited about this technology, get blinded by money and decide to put 1:10 leverages on their investments, which resulted in losing it all after their beloved crypto dropped only by a few percent.

For people without experience in investing, leverages should NOT be touched. I think it is way too easy for any kid to fall for this, I mean, if you can earn a profit 10x as much, ehy wouldn't you do it, right? RIGHT?!

For any person who is new to investing, welcome! Have fun, never invest more than you could lose and trust me, just stay away from leverages for a little while. Just buy an actual coin, you will learn much more from this, and won't lose all of it with one bad flip of the coin.

I hope we as a community can put out a bit of a warning for things like this in the investment world, let's try to protect the future investors. I hope more people will mention these dangers in future steemit posts, along with other forums.
