A Son to an Indian Father

I wanted to start off by writing about me so i came up with this strange title.. So i am 22 and yet dependent on my father who has been working abroad for the past 25+ years. Damn!!!. This is basically how a typical Indian family functions. Talking about me, i have always been around my mom since i was born. My father was in SA when i was born . Also 22 years ago there were no Whatsapp, Facebook, Imo and Android Mobile phones to take pictures and share instantly. So he had to wait for few months before he could come back to India coz the holidays are mostly fixed at the end of 1 year of working in a company abroad.. Obviously i was so small to remember all of this. I know this coz my mother told me when i started to understand and remember things. My father had no choice coz during his time the family was very poor, they couldn't afford proper meals let alone higher studies. Anyways he did Diploma and he was the First to do it in my Village and it was a great achievement in the family... Continued in the next blog.
