do you have windows :) press the windows button type in rec and you have a sound recorder, other than that download some app for 5 minutes, maybe, just keep in mind everything you put on is a potential weakness, :D security in mind, other than that, there are hundreds of apps most probably, worst case scenario you can get another person to record your talk, that's how podcasts are made :)

But yes I missed the plug too, Dan seems to orbit around here every week or so :)

Thanks, Dan. Didn't get a chance to be on this show, coz I kinda slowed down my Steemit endeavors, but I would really, really want to be in touch with what you do. I don't want to be creepy, but is there any way we can be in touch, somehow? Maybe you already have a blog somewhere? I'd love to bounce ideas and day dream. We tried for an hour almost with the IT types in Discord to get my laptop mic working - nobody could figure out what was wrong so I blamed the gov't which is my Liberty default. Beanz was supposed to say something for me here but it did not make it in.

I sent your dad a msg on LinkedIn since I could not find you anywhere to say goodbye but your post the other day. I am still on #SteemitStrike here lol, my only comments all week were both on your blogs.

I wish you the best and feel free to find me online if you wish.

Dan, this is an amazing and magical place you helped to build, a place unlike any other in the vastness of cyber space. I will forever be grateful for the part that you played in creating the first true Global social media platform. You are largely responsible for this wondrous journey I began three months ago, where I have met incredible people from all over the world, many that I am both elated and blessed to call my friends.

An outlet for the worlds I have created in words was the one thing I was missing in my life, and thanks to you I have it now.

You are a visionary, and I am certain that whatever it is you do next will be brilliant.

oh, am I too late? just saw the msg at steemit.chat ... TT ... anyway, I hope my post has shown how we are grateful and the only way to pay tribute to this man is to show our support for steem (see my profile page).

I'm sorry to see Dan go, but wish him well in whatever venture he gets involved with next. I too don't believe we've seen the last of him. I don't think he'll be able to resist popping in every now and then just to see how things are going.
