Fake news is getting scarier and more dangerous day by day. Ordinary people are unlikely to be able to always and accurately distinguish true news from false.
News content from various sources is trusted by most people. Only a few people check it, look for additional facts and primary sources of news.
But this will not always be the case. More and more Internet users are thinking about the reliability of information, paying attention to its components and presentation of the material.
So, the main signs of fake news include:
- Lack of an official source of information;
exaggerated, absurd or overly emotional title; - Suspicious or unknown site domain - readers prefer news from official sources of information or central media, rather than one-day sites; they also do not trust sites whose editors cannot be contacted: there are no email and postal addresses of the editorial office, phones, accounts in social networks;
material without authorship; - One-sided presentation style, the presence of only one point of view, its imposition on readers;
- Doubtful facts, juggling events, old photographs that pass off as relevant.
This is the main marker of whether we are reading true information or fake.
If the source is unknown or presented as an unnamed "scientist", "insider" and another "anonymous", then the material is likely to be unreliable.
If a speaker is indicated, his position and even the name of the company or organization he represents, it will not be superfluous to look for information from open sources that will confirm both its existence and good name.
Most experts believe that countering the attack of fakes, first of all, will help not to remove disinformation and false Internet sources, but to train online users with the help of special programs and projects. People should recognize lies and not react to provocations.
To do this, the Exorde team has created a decentralized economy and community, whose task will be to collect and connect all public data passing through the Internet. These members will be rewarded with the cryptocurrency that Exorde has created and will be able to progress through our system over time.
