DAO.Casino is an Ethereum based protocol. A Smart contracts that automates out the need of trust in a value chain of gambling industry and provides a decentralised system that reward all the key contributors for their work exactly how they have been programmed: game developers, referrers and operators of independent platforms necessary for the game discovery, and those that take part in PRNG.
There's a lot of gambling ICOs lately. Recently, there's WAGERR. They successfully raised over $15million. There's also funfair, vslice and etheroll.
DAO.Casino will have only have a MVP (minimum viable product) a product with just enough features to satisfy early customers, and to provide feedback for future development. There's no working product. Nothing live. And we don't know exactly when they will have a working product.
The only Ethereum gambling site that's live and many folks are playing right now is ETHEROLL.com. It's in production. Dice game is the most popular game in gambling. And DAO.Casino doesn't have it.

Competition will be fierce. There's many gambling ICO already on market. Product is not ready for launch and not live is a negative. I will not partake in this ICO unfortunately.
etheroll has already 80000+ eth wagered and about 945 eth of unpaid dividend so yes: that's a much better investment imo

While I understand your reason for not participating, what do you think of this as a short term flip?

Nice post. I fully understand what you're talking about. I've been asking myself. How many people really do a proper background check before seriously investing in an ICO? I found this amazing platform: https://www.coincheckup.com Every single coin can be analysed here based on: the team, the product, advisors, community, the business and the business model and much more. Check for example: https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Etheroll#analysis For the Etheroll Investment analysis.
