During my time in north Dakota, at the Sacred Stone Prayer Camp, i was part of the media committee, as part of that effort i documented this press conference at the state capitol.
We were told that the state expected a spring flood, and this was the reason for their paramilitary invasion of the peaceful prayer camps in the Cannon Ball district of the Standing Rock Tribe.
The flood never materialized, as a result of the state sponsored eviction, our food, shelter, clothing and equipment were seized and destroyed by the state, and later the media portrayed the theft and destruction as waste.
