DApps is a panacea for the even development and growth for the steem blockchain. Thus, SIN² calls for support and collaboration.

In order to encourage an average steem blockchain user and also to increase the flow of traffic on the steem blockchain from different fields. Thus, the synergy between the decentralized application and the steem blockchain has been an open source.
Then, what does Open source means?

“Open-source software (OSS) is computer software with its source code made available with a license in which the copyright holder provides the rights to study, change, and distribute the software to anyone and for any purpose. Open-source software may be developed in a collaborative public manner.”

The influx of different DApps on the blockchain has been able to drive more people across different works of life to the steem blockchain. And the initiative of the SIN conference is geared towards building sustainable and sufficient communities which in turn has a connection with the chain and the ideology of each DApps.

Part of the vision the organizers of Steemit in Nigeria² had in mind for this year conference is to empower and strengthen a lot of people scacerly distributed across the blockchain especially the Nigerian community at large.
It is no longer in doubt that Nigeria have the most active users from the developing countries on the steem blockchain, looking from the fact provided here

Also, here is a statistics providing information on the number of internet users in Nigeria from 2013 to 2019. In 2014, Nigeria had 57.7 million internet users. This figure is projected to grow to 76.2 million internet users in 2017.

To this effect, the contribution to the growth of the steem ecosystem by an average Nigerian either as a regular user or an investor cannot be overemphasized.

Hence, the essence and the mutual benefits of DApps with SIN² objectives:

With the effort of the SIN crew and other caretaker committee seeing to the fact that the event is successful, the crew have been able to seal the agreement between these decentralized applications which are thus; @air-clinic and @dlike

Air clinic is a health care system built on the steem blockchain which uses the aircoin to monetize its activities. Meanwhile, dlike is a platform where you can share the amazing contents you read offline with the steem ecosystem. It is model after the fact that STEEM is a social media platform where you get to blog, like and earn different contents. Amazing fact is that, they both have their own apps ready and available for download here and here

They have promised to airdrop their tokens to the hundreds of SIN participants for this year conference and it is base on first come, first serve bases.
It will be of great importance to see a high turnup from different DApps on the steem blockchain supporting the initiative of the SIN in Nigeria this year. And the most important fact is that each decentralized application is unique for their objectives and primary focus.

Therefore, it will be a healthy competition while the users can comfortably swing to the most preferable dapp of their choice. For instance, I am an astute user of @busy.org @esteemapp and @dlike respectively.

We have community representatives from Nigeria on behalf of these dapps, it would be great effort if they can influence this plan on behalf of the entire SIN and Nigeria.

We will be glad if we can get the support and collaboration of interested decentralized application looking forward to working with SIN, Nigeria (both home and in diaspora) and the entire ecosystem as soon as possible.
