Poland beat Finland 5-1 in a friendly match in the Polish northern city of Gdansk on Wednesday, with three goals scored by Kamil Grosicki, the Polish team's captain.

The other two goals for Poland were scored by Krzysztof Piatek and Arkadiusz Milik. Finland's only goal was scored by Ilmari Niskanen.

An audience of about 3,000 watched the match due to the fact that Gdansk had been designated a 'yellow zone' by epidemic authorities. Such a designation puts a limit on the number of people attending mass events.

The Polish team, which for the first time in 2020 played at home, missed Piotr Zielinski and Maciej Rybus, who have contracted coronavirus. Additionally, goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is on quarantine in Italy.
